Sawyer's Farm is proud to announce that there are blueberry bushes growing on nine of its 127 acres! From 2013-present ELEVEN THOUSAND  blueberry bushes were hand planted. The bushes are maintained by hand, by Ray Sawyer, his wife Doreen and his daughter, Christine.

UP & COMING NEWS:

Summer 2017 was Sawyer's Farm first season that a Pick Your Own (PYO) was offered, and we've come a long way since then!

The 2018 season, a beautiful blueberry shed was built.

In the 2019 season we added electricity to the shed, and jarred our own raw honey for customers to purchase!

In March 2020 Ray hand-pruned about 9,000 blueberry bushes. His daughter Christine also stained the berry shed for the 2020 season. We also had business cards made!

June 2021, 2,000 Blue Etta berry plants were hand planted in the middle, early season, field. More mulching, more pruning and fertilizing was also done throughout the 9 acre field. Thanks to Christine, the berry barn will also have Farm T-Shirts for sale inside, size Small-XL.

 

Each season we're thrilled to see new & familiar faces from our community, leave our fields with blue fingertips and smiles.
